İbretlik olay İngiltere’de yaşandı.
İngiliz aile evlerinde birkaç gün sürecek su tesisatına dair arızanın giderilmesi için tatile çıkacakları zamanı seçtiler.
Güvendikleri sıhhi tesisatçı Tom’u çağırdılar. Evdeki arızayı tarif edip tatilden dönene kadar işi bitirmesini rica ettiler.
Ev sahipleri sıhhi tesisatçı Tom’a evde iki hayvan olduğunu, kalorifer peteğinin önünde yatan iri köpek Joe’nun zararsız, kafesteki papağana karşı ise dikkatli olmasını istediler.
Papağanın aşırı küfürbaz olduğunu, çok konuştuğunu, sürekli kendisine laf atıp küfürler edeceğini söyleyerek cevap vermemesi konusunda Tom’u uyardılar.
Ev sahipleri tekrar ve ısrarla: “Sana ne kadar küfürler savursa, sataşsa, tahrikte etse asla ve asla cevap verme! Çok bunaltırsa kulaklığını tak müziğini dinle, duyma, ama kesinlikle ve kesinlikle papağana karşılık verme” dediler.
Tom ertesi gün işine başladı.
Gerçekten iri köpek Joe kalorifer peteğinin önünde sessizce uyuyordu.
Fakat papağan söyledikleri gibi hiç susmuyordu!
Sürekli küfürler, sataşmalar, alaylar, tahrikkar sözler…
Tom sıkı sıkı tembih edildiği için asla cevap vermiyordu. Ancak diğer taraftan birkaç küfürde kendisi sallasa, içini soğutsa kafesteki bir papağan ne yapabilir diye kendi kendine sormadan da edemiyordu.
Birinci günü kafası tam anlamıyla sişmiş, bir kamyon küfür yemiş olarak tamamlayan Tom, ikinci gün mesaisine de aynı küfür, alay ve hakaretlerle başladı.
Günün sonlarına doğru, yorgunluk, stres, kafasının tamamen şişmesi ve papağanın kafesteki bir kuş olduğuna aldanıp, papağana okkalı bir küfür savurdu.
Papağan şok olmuştu!
Çünkü kendisine cevap verilmesine alışık değildi.
Sahipleri insanları sürekli cevap verilmemesi konusunda uyarıp papağana küfür etme, sataşma, alay etme konforu sağlamışlardı.
Papağan bir süre sessiz kalınca Tom rahatlamış, olayı kökünden çözdüğünü zannetmişti.
Oysa bu sessizlik tam anlamıyla “fırtına öncesi sessizlikti.”
Papağan orduya savaş öncesi komut veren bir mareşal edasıyla iri köpek Joe’ya bağırdı.
“Yakala ve parçala Joe!”
Papağandan emri alan iri köpek Joe bir anda ayağa kalktı ve o sakin görünen köpeğin içinden adeta bir canavar çıktı.
Bütün hız ve hıncıyla Tom’un üzerine atılan iri köpek Joe Tom’u hastanelik etti.
Ev sahipleri Tom’u hastanede ziyaret ettiler. Üzgün olduklarını ama cevap vermemesi gerektiğini söylediklerini hatırlattılar.

Aileden, kurumlara, STK’lardan şirketlere, basın-yayın organlarından sosyal medya mecralarına kadar birçok mahfilden insanlar kafesteki papağan gibi dilleriyle oluşturdukları fitnelerle kendilerini güvende gördükleri kafeslerinden toplumu emre hazır Joe’ları kullanarak zehirliyorlar.
Evin içinde, kurum ve kuruluşlarda iri köpek Joe gibi kolay gaza ve dolduruşa gelen insanları doldurup kendileri perde arkasında masum fotoğraf vermeye devam ediyorlar.
Sözle yapılan fitne silahla yapılan zarardan daha derin, daha sürekli ve daha zararlıdır.
Kur’an-ı Kerim bu etkiye Bakara suresi 191. Ayette “fitne cinayetten şiddetlidir” ifadesi ile işaret etmiştir.
Bize düşen göreve gelince; kafesteki papağanları güvende olduklarını düşündükleri kafeslerinden dışarı riskli alana çıkarmak ve iri köpek Joe’ları onların tasallutundan kurtarıp akıllarını başlarına almalarını sağlamak.
Yoksa bu güvenli(!) kafeslerdeki papağanlar çok can yakacak!
Beware of the Parrots in the Cage!
The exemplary incident took place in England.
They chose a time to go on vacation to fix the plumbing problem that would take a few days in their British family home.
They called Tom, the plumber they trusted. They described the malfunction in the house and asked him to finish the job until he returned from vacation.
The owners asked the plumber Tom that there were two animals in the house, that the big dog Joe, lying in front of the heater, was harmless, and to be careful of the parrot in the cage.
They warned Tom not to answer, saying that the parrot was extremely abusive, talked a lot, and would constantly curse at him.
The hosts again and insistently: “Never, ever respond, no matter how much he curses, taunts, or provokes you! If it gets too overwhelming, put on your headphones and listen to the music, don't hear it, but definitely and definitely don't respond to the parrot.
Tom started his job the next day.
The really big dog Joe was sleeping quietly in front of the heater core.
But the parrot never shut up, as they say!
Constant swearing, teasing, sarcasm, provocative words…
Tom never responded because he was strictly admonished. However, on the other hand, he couldn't help but ask himself what a parrot in a cage would do if he swore a few curses and cooled himself.
Tom, who finished the first day with his head completely swollen and a truck cursed, started the second day with the same swearing, sarcasm and insults.
Towards the end of the day, exhausted, stressed, full of head swelling, and deceived that the parrot was a bird in a cage, he cursed the parrot out loud.
The parrot was shocked!
Because he wasn't used to being answered.
The owners had given the parrot the comfort of swearing, teasing, and mocking, by constantly warning people not to respond.
After the parrot was silent for a while, Tom was relieved and thought he had completely solved the problem.
However, this silence was literally “the calm before the storm.”
The parrot shouted at the big dog Joe with the air of a marshal commanding the army before the battle.
“Catch and smash Joe!”
The big dog Joe, who took the order from the parrot, suddenly stood up and a monster came out of that calm-looking dog.
The big dog Joe, who threw himself at Tom with all his speed and fury, put Tom in the hospital.
The hosts visited Tom in the hospital. They reminded me that they said they were sorry but that they shouldn't have answered.
Our share of the story is this, friends!
From families to institutions, from NGOs to companies, from media organs to social media, people from many neighborhoods are poisoning the society from their cages, where they see themselves as safe, with Joe's ready to order, with the sedition they create with their tongues like a parrot in a cage.
Inside the house, in institutions and organizations, people like big dog Joe, who come to gas and fill easily, continue to give innocent photos behind the scenes.
Verbal mischief is deeper, more permanent and more harmful than harm done with weapons.
The Qur'an refers to this effect in the 191st verse of Surat al-Baqara with the expression "fitna is more severe than murder".
As for our duty; to take the caged parrots out of their cages, which they thought to be safe, to the risky area, and to save the big dog Joes from their intrusion and make them come to their senses.
Otherwise, the parrots in these safe(!) cages will hurt a lot!
