Allah Kur’an-ı Kerim’de depremin kullarına büyük lütuflarla gelen bir ikramlar manzumesi olduğunu söylüyor.

“Yeryüzü, şiddetli sarsıntı ile sarsıldığı,

İçindekileri dışarıya fırlatıp attığı,

Ve insan: “Ne oluyor bu dünyaya?” dediği zaman.

İşte o gün (yeryüzü), Rabbinin kendisine bildirdiği haberleri (olup biten her şeyi) anlatacaktır.” Zilzal, 99/1-5.

Sarsıntı ile yeryüzünün ağırlıklarını dışarı atmasının bir dünyaya bir de ahirete bakan iki yönü vardır:

Ahirete bakan yönü malumdur, kıyamet kopar ve kabirdekiler hesaba çekilmek üzere mahşer meydanındaki içtimada hazır bulundurulur.

Dünyaya bakan tarafı ise; Allah’ın insan için yeryüzü bodrumunda depoladığı nimetlerin bir kısmı insanlar istifade etsin diye yeryüzüne çıkarılır.

Nimetin büyüklüğüne ve müjdeye binaen biraz sesli ve gürültülü geliyor.

Biz sünnetullah/fizik kuralları gereği zemin etüdü ve sağlam bina yapmadığımızda ise Allah’ın bize özel gönderdiği “nimet treni” azaba dönüşüyor.

İşte size taze bir örnek:

“Bilim insanları, yerin derinliklerinde Dünya’daki tüm okyanusların toplamından üç kat daha fazla su barındıran devasa bir yer altı su kaynağı keşfetti.

Araştırmacılara göre bu su, yer kabuğunun 660 kilometre altındaki "ringwoodite" adlı minerale sıkışmış durumda. ABD'deki Northwestern Üniversitesi'nden olan ve Science dergisinde yayınlanan makalenin eş yazarı olan Jeofizikçi Steve Jacobsen'a göre bu keşif, Dünya'daki suyun şimdiye kadar kabul edildiği gibi gezegenimize çarpan kuyruklu yıldızlardan biriktiğini değil, jeolojik etkinlikler aracılığıyla yüzeye çıkmış olabileceğini akla getiriyor. Steve Jacobsen, konuyla ilgili olarak şöyle söylüyor:

“Dünya yüzeyinde gerçekleşen volkan patlaması ve deprem gibi jeolojik olaylar bizim için, Dünya'nın içinde gerçekleşen ve bizim göremediklerimizin bir yansımasıdır. Sanırım sonunda, yaşama uygun gezegenimizin yüzeyindeki devasa miktardaki suyu açıklamaya da yardımcı olabilecek, "Dünya'daki su döngüsü"nün kanıtını görüyoruz. Bilim insanları, on yıllardır bu derinlerdeki kayıp suyu arıyordu.”

Allah tabii kanunları fıtri şeriatına/sünnetullaha/fizik kanunlarına onların katolog ve rehberi olarak gönderdiği dıştan gelen Kur’an’a bakarak ve içten gelen aklımızı kullanarak yaklaştığımızda dünya ahiret saadeti vaad ediyor.

Dünyada saadetin demolarını yakalayamayanlar ahirette gerçeğini beklemesin.

Zira ayette saadet ve şekavet bütünleşik veriliyor:

“Buna göre kuşkusuz erdemliler cennette olacaklar;

Şüphesiz, günahkârlar da cehennemdedirler.” İnfitar, 82/13-14.

O halde ey akıl sahibi:

“Dur. Bir daha düşün.”

Is the earthquake an opportunity or a threat?

In the Quran, Allah states that earthquakes are a series of blessings bestowed upon His servants. “When the earth is shaken with a violent shaking,

and throws out what is within it,

and man says, ‘What is happening to this world?’

On that day, it will tell what its Lord has told it.” (Zilzal, 99/1-5).

The shaking of the earth and the throwing out of its burdens has two aspects, one related to this world and the other to the hereafter:

The aspect related to the hereafter is well known: the Day of Judgment will come, and those in the graves will be gathered in the assembly on the Day of Resurrection to be held accountable.

The aspect related to this world is that some of the blessings that God has stored in the earth's basement for humanity are brought to the surface for people to benefit from. Because of the magnitude of the blessing and the good news, it sounds a bit loud and boisterous.

However, when we fail to conduct proper ground surveys and build solid buildings according to the laws of physics, the "train of blessings" that God has specially sent for us turns into torment.

Here's a fresh example:

"Scientists have discovered a massive underground water source deep within the earth containing three times more water than all the oceans on Earth combined."

According to researchers, this water is trapped in a mineral called "ringwoodite" 660 kilometers below the Earth's crust. According to geophysicist Steve Jacobsen of Northwestern University in the US, a co-author of the article published in Science magazine, this discovery suggests that water on Earth may have risen to the surface through geological events rather than accumulating from comets impacting our planet, as previously accepted. Jacobsen states:

“Geological events like volcanic eruptions and earthquakes on the Earth's surface are, for us, a reflection of what is happening inside the Earth that we cannot see. I think we are finally seeing evidence of a 'water cycle on Earth' that could also help explain the enormous amount of water on the surface of our habitable planet. Scientists have been searching for this lost water deep underground for decades.”

Allah promises worldly and hereafter happiness when we approach the natural laws of the world, His innate divine law/sunnatullah/physical laws, by looking at the Quran, which He sent as their catalog and guide, and by using our inner intellect.

Those who cannot grasp the demonstrations of happiness in this world should not expect the reality in the hereafter. For in the verse, happiness and misery are presented as an integrated whole:

“Therefore, surely the righteous will be in Paradise;

And surely the sinners will be in Hell.” Al-Infitar, 82/13-14.

Therefore, O you who possess intellect:

“Stop. Think again.
